Cookie Dough:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter ( 115 g )
- 3/4 cup brown sugar ( 150 g )
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar ( 50 g )
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour ( 300 g )
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips ( 100 g )
- 1 cup crushed potato chips ( 50 g )
Crunchy Topping:
- 1 cup crushed potato chips ( 50 g )
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate ( 75 g )
Soften butter with brown and granulated sugars until creamy. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing gently until smooth.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Gradually combine with the wet mixture.
Fold in milk chocolate chips and crushed potato chips.
Scoop dough onto a lined baking tray, leaving space for spreading.
Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
Mix melted chocolate with extra crushed potato chips. Spread over warm cookies.
Let cookies cool completely before serving.
