- 1/2 cup brown sugar ( 100 g )
- 1/4 cup white sugar ( 50 g )
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour ( 280 g )
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup pistachios ( 60 g )
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chunks ( 100 g )
In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth and fluffy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract, then mix until fully combined.
Add flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms.
Fold in pistachios and chocolate chunks evenly.
Chill the dough in the fridge for 1 hour to improve texture and shape.
Roll the dough between two baking papers using a rolling pin.
Cut into equal rectangular sticks using a knife or pizza cutter.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10–12 minutes until golden.
