Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter ( 115 g )
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar ( 100 g )
  • 1/4 cup white sugar ( 50 g )
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour ( 280 g )
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup pistachios ( 60 g )
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chunks ( 100 g )

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract, then mix until fully combined.
  • Add flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  • Fold in pistachios and chocolate chunks evenly.
  • Chill the dough in the fridge for 1 hour to improve texture and shape.
  • Roll the dough between two baking papers using a rolling pin.
  • Cut into equal rectangular sticks using a knife or pizza cutter.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10–12 minutes until golden.
