- 7 tbsp cold butter ( 100 g )
- 2 ½ tbsp sugar ( 30 g )
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour ( 180 g )
- Pinch of salt
- 2 ½ tbsp sweetened condensed milk ( 40 g )
- ½ tsp vanilla or mint extract
- Red food coloring
Mix butter and sugar until soft and creamy.
Add flour and salt slowly, then mix until a soft dough forms.
Pour in condensed milk and add vanilla or mint extract, then mix until smooth.
Divide the dough into two parts, then add red food coloring to one part and chill both for 1 hour.
Roll the dough into strips, then twist the red and plain dough together to form candy cane shapes.
Place on a baking tray and bake until the edges turn light golden.
Let the cookies cool completely before serving.
