- 1/3 cup icing sugar (40 g)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil (110 g)
- 1/2 cup milk (110 g)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (390 g)
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder (21 g)
- A pinch of salt
In a large bowl, cream the butter and icing sugar until smooth.
Add vegetable oil, milk, and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
Gradually fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt to form a soft dough.
Chill the dough in the fridge for 1 hour.
Roll the dough into balls and flatten slightly. Shape creatively for a festive look.
Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
