Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup soft butter (113 g)
  • 1/3 cup icing sugar (40 g)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil (110 g)
  • 1/2 cup milk (110 g)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (390 g)
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder (21 g)
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, cream the butter and icing sugar until smooth.
  • Add vegetable oil, milk, and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  • Gradually fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt to form a soft dough.
  • Chill the dough in the fridge for 1 hour.
  • Roll the dough into balls and flatten slightly. Shape creatively for a festive look.
  • Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  • Let the cookies cool slightly, then sprinkle with icing sugar for a snowy holiday effect.
